I have a Doctor of Nursing Practice with 20 years of nursing experience. From 2019 to 2024 I prescribed Suboxone, Subutex and Zubsolv (buprenorphine medications) for the treatment of opiate dependence in rural Maryland. In May 2009 I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on primary care. My BSN was completed in 2003 at Johns Hopkins University. While treating opiate addiction in the community can be challenging, it is also quite rewarding. As drug overdoses increase throughout the United States, I have partnered with NURSE RX in order to provide much needed buprenrophine medication in my home state of Maryland.
